Central Lechera Asturiana joins as a new sponsor of the Valencia marathon and half marathon

  • The company will be present at both events in 2024 and will also provide products for the race bags

Valencia, 5 September 2024 – The Valencia Trinidad Alfonso Zurich Marathon and the Valencia Trinidad Alfonso Zurich Half Marathon have a new sponsor for the 2024 edition, with Central Lechera Asturiana now on board. 

The Asturias company, which has been involved in the running world and women’s sports for years, is taking one step further by joining Spain’s top two races, reinforcing its commitment to promoting physical activity as a key part of a healthy lifestyle, combined with a natural and balanced diet.

As a sponsor of the marathon and the half marathon, Central Lechera Asturiana will have a visible presence during the events, with branding along the courses, support stations and a stand at the fair, where they will engage with participants and their companions. The dairy brand will also include premium milk cartons, rich in protein and calcium to help maintain muscle and bone mass, in the race bags provided to runners. 

Paco Borao, president of SD Correcaminos, the organisation that co-hosts the races alongside the Valencia City Council, says that the food company’s inclusion is “always great news, as it links our races with companies that uphold traditional values and a healthy lifestyle.” He adds, “Central Lechera and Correcaminos share a lot in common, as both companies have grown from local roots to reach leading positions. Central Lechera Asturiana started from a union of small family farms, while Correcaminos started from a group of friends and running enthusiasts who are like family. With a lot of hard work and dedication, both have reached where we are today.”
