Committed to Asturias

Central Lechera Asturiana S.A.T. is our link with Asturias society, with our land, with our people. Its social and cultural activities aspire to return the trust that Asturias society has placed in the company for more than 50 years.

It contributes to training young people with a scholarship programme every year and promotes creativity and artistic production through its cultural competition. More than one thousand schoolchildren from Asturias between 6 and 17 years old participated in the most recent editions, in drawing, painting, stories and poetry.

COOPERATIVA

Central Lechera Asturiana S.A.T., providing support for farmers

The Central Lechera Asturiana cooperative, founded in 1969, became the Sociedad Agraria de Transformación (Agrarian Transformation Company) in 1982. It was a statutory modification that sought to reinforce Central Lechera Asturiana’s raison d’être from its origin: Improved living conditions for farming partners.

Central Lechera Asturiana S.A.T. is the majority shareholder of its industrial group Corporación Alimentaria Peñasanta S.A. It represents farmers’ interests and offers them support through: Agricultural services such as those included in the Garantía Ganadera, the Continuous Training Classroom, the Farmers’ Portal and forums such as the Professional Meetings forum.
